FLEAS AT HOME?
Cat and dog fleas, which are not host-specific, bite and suck blood. Typically the bites will leave a small red itchy area. If the animals are taken out of the equation, fleas will attack humans. They are very small, only about 3mm in length, but on a light coloured floor, you can see them jumping around.
WHAT DAMAGE DO THEY CAUSE?
Flea bites can cause intense itching, which can sometimes lead to an infection. While the itchiness and bite marks disappear slowly, they can also cause allergic reactions in sensitive people and pets. Since fleas feast on a host’s blood for survival, your pet may develop anemia. Fleas are also known to be disease and parasite vectors, and therefore, it is important to eliminate them completely from your property.
OUR SOLUTION
We'll arrange a convenient time with you for a full and thorough inspection of your home and office. Based on the infestation, our pest control technicians will recommend a treatment plan. Our exterminator experts will visit your place and sort out your flea problem. You may need multiple visits depending on the treatment. Our technician will run through the treatment process before the work begins, and we'll also give you advice on how to make sure your flea problem doesn't come back.
POST TREATMENT
Post flea control treatment, you and your family should stay out of your home until the chemicals are dry. Also, to make sure that the treatment is effective, you should refrain from steam cleaning your carpets for 2 - 3 months. Flea activity will decrease and eventually stop within 15 - 30 days.
