CENTIPEDES AT HOME?
Centipedes are considered a juggernaut in the insect world. They are yellow to brown in colour and can be up to 1 ½ inch in length. They are elongated, flattened and have a worm-like appearance. Centipedes are often called ‘hundred-leggers’ because of their many pairs of legs. These are found in areas of high moisture such as loose bark, rotting logs and under stones. Centipedes occasionally invade structures, feeding off flies, spiders and other dead insects.
